The five spirits
Each one grants a weapon, a summon, and a piece of who he is.
The spirits are the spiritual forms of Gabriel's five family members, transformed by Dhera to protect the world. Each accompanies him as a visible presence throughout the journey.

Aurora — the grandmother
In her human form, Aurora carried a brightness that did not come from fire, but from within herself: the ability to see what others could not. As a spirit, she grants Gabriel Lumen Aeterna, an elegant sword whose strikes are not merely physical — they reveal what is hidden in the shadows. In moments of greatest pressure, Aura summons Luminaris: light clones that rush through enemies like reflections of everything Gabriel may still become. The grandmother who guided him in life continues to guide him in the form of light.

Aura summons light clones of Gabriel that attack nearby enemies by passing through their bodies. Initially, two clones are created and launched into battle.

Giorgio — the grandfather
Giorgio never stayed where he was told to remain. His strength was invisible and constant, the same force that curves around mountains without needing to bring them down. Through Wandering Whisper, a bow whose arrows seem to choose their own paths, he teaches Gabriel that mastering space is more powerful than merely occupying it. When the meter overflows, Zephyr summons Nimbus: a colossal bird whose wings generate tornadoes with every beat, sweeping across the battlefield with the freedom he never gave up.

Gabriel's father was always intensity. His presence brought warmth, but could also burn. He represented fire through the passion with which he defended his beliefs and the rigidity with which he faced the world — a man who believed strength was synonymous with action, and that hesitation could be fatal. Over time, Gabriel understood that his father's fire was not merely severity, but protection. It was this flame that pushed him to face his own fears. He did not know whether that fire would protect him or consume him. He only knew he could not ignore it.

Sophia — the mother
His mother was the family's quiet balance. Solid ground beneath everyone's restless feet. She represented stability, tangible care, and the embrace that anchors you when everything around you seems to be collapsing. Whenever questions about his origins and the forces surrounding him threatened to destabilise Gabriel, it was in her that he found rest. The earth does not demand spectacle; it supports. Through the stories his grandmother told, he learned that growing up does not simply mean reaching great heights, but creating roots deep enough to withstand storms. The earth does not abandon. It remains.

Nina — the sister
His sister was the most delicate story. His grandmother spoke of her gently, as though afraid of breaking something fragile. She said Nina was sensitivity in motion — extremely intuitive and capable of understanding what no one dared to say aloud. Water in its deepest form. Gabriel grew up imagining what it would be like to have someone who felt the world as he did, but without the weight of loneliness. In many decisive moments, he thinks of the sister who inspired him, remembering that vulnerability is not weakness — that feeling is a form of strength. And that, just as rivers find the sea, every journey finds its destination when it allows itself to flow.
